Haas VF-3SS Overview
This 2009 Haas VF-3SS Vertical Machining Center offers high-speed machining capability with 40″ X-axis, 20″ Y-axis, and 25″ Z-axis travels, an 18″ x 48″ table rated for 1,750 lbs, a 12,000 RPM 40-taper inline direct-drive spindle, 30 hp spindle motor, and 24+1 high-speed side-mount automatic tool changer.
The machine is equipped with a Haas 4-Axis CNC Control with 15″ color LCD monitor, WIPS Wireless Intuitive Probing System with Renishaw probing, 4th-axis drive, programmable coolant nozzle, chip auger, automatic air gun, remote jog handle with color LCD, rigid tapping, and flood coolant system. The machine was built in December 2009 and put into service in January 2010.
