Machine Overview
This 2008 Haas VF-3B Vertical Machining Center provides a versatile combination of travel, spindle performance, and production capability. It features 40″ X-axis, 20″ Y-axis, and 25″ Z-axis travels, an 18″ x 48″ table rated for up to 3,500 lbs, a 7,500 RPM CAT 40 spindle powered by a 20 HP motor, and a 24+1 side-mount automatic tool changer.
The machine is equipped with a Haas CNC control with color LCD monitor, Wireless Intuitive Probing System, 4th-axis drive and wiring, high-speed machining, programmable coolant nozzle, auxiliary coolant filter system, chip auger, rigid tapping, spindle orientation, user-definable macros, coordinate rotation and scaling, Visual Quick Code, 1 MB program memory, USB, and RS-232 connectivity. This option package gives the VF-3B strong flexibility for precision job-shop and production machining.
