Machine Overview

This 2021 Axile G6 5-Axis Vertical Machining Center is designed for 5-sided and simultaneous 5-axis machining. It provides 25.6″ X-axis, 33.5″ Y-axis, and 19.7″ Z-axis travels, a 23.6″ diameter rotary table with ±120-degree A-axis tilt, a 20,000 rpm HSK-A63 spindle rated at 40/60 hp, and an 80-position automatic tool changer.

The machine is equipped with a Fanuc 31i-B5 Plus 5-axis CNC Control, Heidenhain linear scales, BLUM tool setter, Kinematics reference ball, Heidenhain TS-740/SE-640 workpiece probing system, high-precision A- and C-axis encoders, and a chip-removal/flushing system. Its gantry construction, roller linear guideways, precision ballscrews, and torque-motor rotary table support high-accuracy multi-axis machining.
